Review
Beginning with a dynamic modern group dance, the show instantly took the audience’s breath away. It freely represents a strong yearning for youth and trend of Johnny Hates Jazz, Designer Choi, JiHyung’s second line. The collection, which began with reinterpreted 1980’s denim looks, presents oversized denim vests and jump suits. Clothes with patchwork of grey monogrammed denim in various colors create a refreshing touch, and their knot prints and details drew attention. Cape leather jackets, inspired by her iconic cape, and big capes with mixed colors looked more sophisticated than the last season, and heavy details such as zippers and buckles add strong power to the overall collection. Coats and dresses with huge shoulders and hair-like fur jackets make a perfect harmony with leather or wool fabrics.
